HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is an assortment of over 100 related viruses in a group. HPV is a common virus group in the entire world. Oral Cancer is a form of cancer that is formed in the mouth tissues. It could be located towards the part of the throat near the back of the mouth.

Studies have shown how the cellular level of the oral cavity is very similar to the cervix and vagina when infected with HPV. An abnormal tissue growth which can form inside is a condyloma growth. Appearance is wart like and grows in cauliflower type clusters. Cells can reproduce extremely quickly. Uncontrolled viral cell production eventually may cause cancer.

Cells are necessary for life to make tissues. Tissues form bodily organs. When cells have completed their life cycle, they die and new cells are made. When the process goes awry, old cells do not die when expected. Extra unwanted cells can grow into a tumor or growth.

Symptoms of this cancer type have varied forms. Growths can be formed in gum and cheek linings. They can be located at the roof or floor of the mouth. They may grow on the lips and tongue. Attention should be given to any sore or mouth blister that will not heal properly or at all. Regular oral cancer sreening is highly recommended.
