When a tooth cannot be restored to its original condition using standard fillings or other restorative procedures, it may be necessary to fit the damaged tooth with a crown. A crown, or a “cap”, will reshape the misshaped tooth and restore a beautiful smile. Typically, two appointments would be required to fit a crown; however with our state ofthe art Cerec® 3D system your cosmetic crown will be milled right here at our office in one hour. A digital impression of your tooth is taken and sent to our design center. After the custom design of your crown is completed, our milling unit will carve out your cosmetic crown from a solid piece of porcelain.

While other types are available, porcelain crowns are the most popular. The color and texture of porcelain best matches natural teeth and is extremely durable and long-lasting.
